AI Builders

GPT-5.5-Cyber + Codex Security

faviconx.com

Sakana Fugu Ultra

faviconx.com

Vercel

faviconx.com

Peter Yang (petergyang, AI Builder)

faviconx.com

John Carmack (ID_AA_Carmack, 独立 AI 工程师)

faviconx.com

Swyx (swyx, AI Engineer

faviconx.com

faviconx.com

faviconx.com

Progressives spent 2016-2024 slathering on hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes on new housing per unit until moderates won back control in late 2024.
It isn’t the ZIRP era anymore unfortunately. Construction and financing costs are way higher than they were a decade ago. Time to roll it back and make it easier to build.

This is a deep insight from Blake: "the enemy is the real customer of defense products."
It's easy to think that the US govt is the customer of defense tech products, but ultimately they're effectively a middle-man. The enemy drives what we need.

It’s funny, growing up as an immigrant I developed a scarcity mindset around saving money and resources.
But when it comes to unlimited token plans and tokenmaxxing, it feels like a missed opportunity if I don’t burn as many tokens as possible and hit the limit each time.
How do I address this disconnect? 🥹

in the near term you should probably just use @wafer_ai which seems to be the cheapest provider instead of building your own rig.
but the fact you can even consider doing it now is a very good sign for personal on-device AI in the next decade as trillions of dollars go into chip science.

Recall Jackie Fielder Recall Jackie Fielder
Jackie Fielder turned her District 9 office into a taxpayer-funded Shadow State Department.
While potholes went unfixed, open drug markets spread, and property crime exploded in the Mission, Bernal Heights, and Portola, she diverted staff time and city resources to Middle Eastern geopolitics. She wasn’t solving local problems. She was playing diplomat from City Hall.
In October 2025, when a San Francisco native named Logan Hollarsmith was detained by Israeli forces on a Gaza flotilla, Fielder’s legislative aide reached out to his mother offering the District 9 office’s official support. Fielder publicly declared “nothing but admiration and respect” for the activists. At the same time she weaponized the conflict to attack local employers, boycotting Dreamforce and calling Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff “incredibly dangerous.”
This wasn’t representation. This was grotesque dereliction. She spent taxpayer hours on international maritime drama and alienating the Jewish community and moderate Democrats while her own district fell apart.
Her priorities were never District 9. They were performative activism and ideological signaling on everyone else’s dime.
Jackie Fielder must resign.

I’m excited to partner with @swyx to host a workshop at the @aiDotEngineer World’s Fair with Carole Robin (Distinguished @StanfordGSB Teacher of “Touchy Feely” & Co-Founder of @LITfellows) on developing effective relationships.
Building human relationships (including romantic ones) is a KPI of @aiDotEngineer. While we are celebrating so much AI progress, we also want to foster more human connection. This is an urgent time to ensure we have both the technical skills to develop AI safely *and* the interpersonal skills to build effective human relationships.
We will do a live demo of connection tools from the Touchy Feely course and @LITfellows programs. You'll then practice the skills yourself. You'll leave with tools to be more effective in your professional and personal relationships.
Public conference passes are sold out, but @swyx is offering a limited number of complimentary Expo passes for this workshop. Request a pass by Thursday, June 25 to attend the workshop: http://bit.ly/connect-ai-2026

We're accelerating patching, in addition to vuln finding, with new tools and models in OpenAI Daybreak.

Our models are now discovering and generating patches for critical vulns in major browsers, network infrastructure, and operating systems (such as FreeBSD and the Linux kernel), and patching projects like cURL, Go, Python, Sigstore, and pyca/cryptography.

Working together with partners and the ecosystem to help secure the world's software:

OpenAI: We’re expanding OpenAI Daybreak to help democratize patching vulnerable software at machine speed:

- Codex Security plugin: find, validate, and fix vulnerabilities right inside Codex

- The full version of GPT-5.5-Cyber model: a great model for trusted defenders

I thought “no way is this real”, but there actually is a project along these lines. I doubt Nvidia is any more involved than just selling them GPUs, and they aren’t going to be “silent”, but a company is actually pitching this.

Large data centers have substantial efficiencies of scale, so this is economically nonsensical even for low grade inference (to say nothing of training) unless traditional construction is outlawed.
